As a young business, JBD was recognised as ‘Jeweller of the Year’ In the JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards 2012/13. Our jewellers stunned the industry internationally with their ‘Undulation’ bangle, also winning the ‘Craftsmanship Award’ at the International Craftsmanship Awards in Hong Kong. In 2014. JBD was Runner Up for ‘Jeweller of the Year’ in the JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards for the design and creation of the ‘Cascade’ ring.
Locally, JBD has received various awards – ‘Retailer of the Year’, ‘Independent Retailer Excellence’ and a ‘Merchandising Award’, demonstrating exemplary retailing excellence.
Our intent is to evoke a playful& ;emotional response, through the simple interplay of colour, movement and personal interaction whilst maintaining a sophisticated elegance.
The fundamental structure consists of an inner sleeve finely bound & with anodized titanium wire overlayed by an interlaced network of gold rivulets that capture and direct twelve hundred diamonds. These elements are then encapsulated by a hand cut cylindrical glass sleeve.

Designed and created with the latest CAD/CAM technology, the seven lines of pave set diamonds form an oscillating pattern on the band that wraps snugly round the right middle finger before curving back across the hand to form a graceful arch.
Cascade was envisioned as a sweeping single brushstroke of rippling diamonds gracefully draped across the entire hand.& ; I wanted to create a show stopping piece of red carpet jewellery that gives the wearer a feeling of complete luxury and elegance.
Cascade has been manufactured in 18ct white gold and is set with 532 F-G/VS-SI round brilliant cut diamonds, giving it a total diamond weight of 12.86cts!
